The Ministry of Health also lowered the minimum standard for protein content to 2.8 percent from the proposed 2.95 when the standard was published in March last year, said Wei, who has taken part in formulating the National Dairy Standard on four occasions. "I have no idea till now on when and why some key indexes that were discussed repeatedly were overthrown," Wei said.
The new standard has come under fire from both consumers and the media, as the maximum safety limit for bacteria in raw milk was 20 times higher fashion jewelry wholesalethan in Europe and the United States.

The national supermarket chain said it was looking into the incident.
"It was never our intent to separate a mother from her child. That was a very unfortunate consequence to this situation," said Susan Houghton, a spokeswoman for the California-based supermarket chain.
The couple was released after posting bail. A police officer escorted them back to the store - which banned them for a year, she said - where they picked up their groceries and walked home just before midnight.
"We basically stared at each other all night. We woke up at the crack of dawn and called (the state child welfare office)," Leszczynski said. While waiting, she vented about the experience on babycenter.com and contacted a lawyer for help with being reunited with Zofia. At the lawyer's suggestion, they took their story to the media.

Gillett was rocked by the death of his good mate, as was the shattered Bribie Island league community.
Parnell's death, though, proved to be a turning point in Gillett's life, on and off the football field.

"Todd was born on December 6. Six was his lucky number."
Parnell played five-eighth in a club game for the Warrigals only hours before he died. "He wore the No 6 jumper that night. I still have it," Stirling said. "I watched him play, he had a wonderful game.
"He went home, got changed and went back to a 21st party at the club and was killed later that night."

Veteran South African golfer Ernie Els sank a five footer on his last hole to move into the top 70 of the PGA tour's FedexCup playoff standings at the Deutsche Bank Championship at the TPC Boston in Massachusetts on Monday.
The FedexCup is made up of four events with the field reduced according to the points standings every week.
The top 70 advance to the next event to be played at Cog Hill in Chicago from September 15 to 18.

Speaking in a TV interview after his round, a relieved Els said the unique format of the FedexCup gave him new motivation.
